Essay

Сriteria for boundary states which occure during the realization of discontinuous yelding of metals and a method to determine dangerous and allowable stresses under subzero cooling conditions are developed. The main factors of influence on the effect are established and recommmendations on improving the standard procedure of tensile testing of metals are developed. The model of jumpwise deformation was constructed which allows to determine the peak strains and to describe the kinetics of the process.
