Essay

The dissertation has solved an important scientific and technical problem of higher efficiency of ground excavation by working members, in designs of which the quasi-static methods of ground fracture are incorporated. The new ap-proach the theory of surface layer fracture consists in the more complete account of interrelation of processes of working members coming entering ground mass and sepa-rating element of ground chips. The energy expediency and technical opportunity of change a working member motion trajectory are scientifically grounded for chip separation control. Working member motion trajectory is active when exterior action is added, to pulling power force exterior ac-tion and passive operation is carried out by means of elastic elements energy accumulation. The examples of implemen-tation of energy efficient processes of excavation in con-structions of working members of bulldozers, rippers, scrap-ers and other devices for strong and other ground fracture are given.
