Essay

Research object - cement concrete modified with additives to provide its operational properties and durability. The goal has been to develop effective scientific approach to rational modification of the concretes combining theoretical base of cement system structure formation with multifactor modelling in search for multifunction additives. The methods present multifactor modeling and computational experiments, physico-chemical methods of analysis. Developed have been computeraided technology of search for multi-component modifiers, the aided technology of search for multi- component modifiers, the ways and criteria to analyse reliably the additives effects with factors of concrete technology and operation changing and to assure the levels of properties, including those in space of construction.. General tendencies and peculiarities of the influence of complex additives (on superplasticisers ect.) on indices of concrete quality and the assuredness of concrete properties have been established. Compositions of modifiers for steel fibrous concrete, repair mortars, slag containing cements have been developed. The results were applied when creating new additives (at "NIIZHB", "Budindustria") and resource-saving technologies at construction industry enterprises. Application region - development of effective concretes on the base of modifying additives.
