Essay

Object - optic-spectral, luminescent and thermally activational characteristic of self activated oxide compounds. Purpose - determination of correlation structural complexes and crystalline chemical properties with optico-physical properties and luminescent processes in oxygen compound scintillation combinations based on Y2O3, Sc2O3, Y2GeO5, Y2SiO5, Y2W3O12, Y2Mo3O12, PbWO4, M2WO6 (M = Bi, Y, Sc), Bi4X3O12 (X = Si, Ge, Zr). Since the luminescence spectra of investigated combinations were the superposition of several bands the separation these spectra to elementary components was carried out. For different types of investigated combinations the general rules of luminescence centres were determined and the models of these centres were proposed. It was shown, that the luminescence centres in related combinations were connected with common structural complexes. The separated spectra components nature was established.
