Essay

The object of research is bifurcations and stability, which are observed in the case of nonlinear oscillations of elastic systems. These systems contain beams, cylindrical shells, snap -through systems, systems with dry friction elements, impact systems. The aim of investigations is to solve the scientific problem, which contains the analysis of bifurcation and stability of nonlinear oscillations of elastic systems. The modern analytical and numerical methods of nonlinear dynamics, which allow to study qualitatively and quantative the nonlinear oscillations, is the methods used in this thesis. The obtained analytical results can be used to design and future experimental and theoretical investigations in the fields of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and for testing the applied software. Some theoretical and applied results is used in the design of GI" Industry named after Malushev".
