The dissertation is devoted to matters of increasing the efficacy of diagnostic and treatment-and-prevention measures in children with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).In order to improve the diagnostics of IBS in children differentially-diagnostic algorithm has been created on the basis of Roman criteria II and determination of thermographic characteristics and the threshold of the bowel rectal sensitivity.Risk factors detected in patients enabled to develop mathematic model of the prediction of IBS development in children by the method of the step-by-step discriminant analysis.The important role of the disorders of the psychoemotional status,increased anxiety level,disorders of the vegetative nervous system condition in the pathogenesis of the disease has been disclosed.
