Essay

The thesis is aimed at determination of regularities and specific features of a course of the physical processes concerned with changes of both the magnetic state and electric conductivity in inhomogeneous manganite compounds with perovskite structure. Features of the evolution of the properties, occurring as a result of a purposeful enhancement of the material inhomogeneity, have been established. It is shown that introduction of various kinds of imperfections gives rise to enhancement of a tendency to magnetic phase separation.
