Essay

Investigation object: processes of excitating, radiating and scattering electromagnetic fields with the slot structures which have arbitrary sizes and different dielectric filling.. The slot structures are situated in waveguiding tracts which are excited with the harmonic, wideband and nonstationary fields. Investigation goals: development of the theory and designing physical-and-mathematical models and methods of calculating the characteristics of the waveguide-slot radiators and systems of ones, analysis and revealing the physical properties of the fields radiated. Investigation techniques: analytical and numerical-and-analytical methods, experiment. Results and novelty: the theory of the waveguide-slot radiators have been developed under condition when geometrical and material parameters and mode excitating the waveguide and slot elements are arbitrary. The accurate physical and mathematical models, electrodynamic methods and algorithms of investigating physical properties multifunctional radiatingelements, devices and multielement systems and calculating their frequency , energy and polarization characteristics have been created. The use regions: computer-aided design of the modern centimeter and millimeter waveband systems of the different intention, solving the problem of ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility, interference defencing, signals selection, designing antennas with special requires to directional and radiational characteristics.
