Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the problem of elaboration of mathematical models, methods and software tools for analysis of performance and structure synthesis of computer networks with ATM technology. The problem of surviveability analysis in ATM networks for different categories of service CBR, VBR and ABR is investigated and its solution is presented. For the first time the problem of structure synthesis for ATM networks is considered and corresponding method is suggested. The new dynamic problems of structure synthesis of developing networks are stated, investigated and algorithms for their solution suggested.
