Essay

The complex picture of magnetic states in different systems of magnetic nanoparticles with dominant dipolar interactions was obtained and their correlations with macroscopic magnetic and transport properties were studied. Three different systems were investigated - nanogranular films magnetic metal/nonmagnetic metal, nanogranular layered magnetic films metal/insulator and periodic arrays of submicron circular magnetic dots. New routes to optimize the properties of such systems for practical applications were ellaborated.
