Thesis is devoted to history and economic research of evolution of monetary theories and scientific investigation of conception of modern monetarism. Theoretical exposition of economic policy of monetarism and highlighting the experience of its embodiment in the countries of transitive economy and in Ukraine, in particular are generalized. Conceptual fundamentals of modern model of economic development of Ukraine's economy on monetary bases, adequate to the aims and terms of social and economic development of Ukraine at the modern stage, are generalized.
