Essay

The dissertation presents the first complex research of the criminal and criminological problems of crimes against the safety of traffic and transport operations. Considering national and international experience, a number of principles and conclusions that are conceptually new in theoretical and applied aspects of traffic safety are provided as well as grounded application of separate Criminal Law institutions and social dependence of criminal responsibility, the new configuration of the traffic safety system is developed. Formation of the criminal-legal and criminological characteristics of these crimes into a separate sector is argued. The system of criminal-legal norms on the crimes against the safety of traffic and transport operation is perfected. The basic trends of traffic accidents prevention on social, special criminological and victimological levels are developed.
