Essay

The thesis is dedicated to analysis of organizational matters and legal problems as to implementation of penalties by probation offices. These penalties are not connected with imprisonment such as corrective labour, social work, deprivation of the right to hold a post or to be involved in any activity. Theory and practical implementation of penalties by probation offices are considered in the work. Periods of their implementation, conceptions, main points and modern theoretical and Legal measures and their implementation in the countries of EC are investigated in the thesis. Practical implementation of penalties which are not connected with imprisonment is summarized, possible ways of their perfection (legal ensuring, improvement of probation offices activity, the usage of preventive and educative influence and training of skilled personnel) are also pointed out in the work.
