Complex of conducted researches led to understanding the pathogenic mechanism of the onset of thrombo-hemorrhagic complications at newborns from mothers with diabetes mellitus and on its basis to create a mathematic model and an algorithm of prognosing the risks of those complications. A micro method of evaluation the hemostasis system of newborns was developed. Scientifically proved and developed a three-stage system of organizational, prognostic, diagnostic, treatment and prophylactic measures, pointed on decreasing the incidence and severity of hemorrhagic complications at newborns from mothers with diabetes mellitus. Its effectiveness is shown.
