Sakovytch V. Clinical-immunobiochemical peculiarities of herpetic keratites course, their treatment and complications prophylaxis

Object: herpetic keratitis. Purpose: to raise efficiency of herpetic keratitis treatment and complication prophylaxis. Methods - ophthalmologic, immunological, biochemical, bacteriological; slit lamp, оophthalmoscope, spectrophotometer, microscope. For the first time in ophthalmology the safety and efficiency of endogenic interferon inductor subalin clinical application (in drops) has been shown on modeled herpetic keratitis. Scientific knowledge is increased concerning expressed damages in immunological reactivity, depended on the disease degree and the clinic in patients with herpetic keratitis. It was established too, that the expressed metabolic disturbances of adenine nucleotide,oxidation and reduction take place in patients with herpetic keratitis. For the first time the method of herpetic keratitis treatment has been offered which includes complex applications of probiotics, peloids and hyperbaric oxygenation, that has allowed to raise efficiency of treatment and to reduce the number of complications and relapses. New worked out method is adopted in Dnepropetrovsk RCOH and RCH, hospitals of the regional centers of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Treatment efficiency of herpetic keratitis , complications and relapses is raised. The field of application - medicine, ophthalmology.
