Essay

The object of study – the militarian-political direction of the prominent states of the Anti-Hitler coalition - USSR, USA and Great Britain – on Balkan during the Second world war. The purpose of study is the complex study of the relations of the states of the Anti-Hitler coalition with Bulgaria, and also between these states in a context of their political direction in Bulgaria within the Second world war. The methods used in the research are: civilization approach, system approach, synchronous, chronological, comparative-historical, historical-genetic methods, method of periodization. The practical value of work consists in use of the received results by preparation of general courses on a history of the Second world war, modern history of the countries of Central and Southeast Europe, history of the international relations, various special courses, and also generalizing works on a history of Bulgaria, diplomatic history of the Second world war, history of the Anti-Hitler coalition. The dissertation is the first complex research of relations with Bulgaria of the prominent states of the Anti-Hitler coalition and also relations among the mentioned states concerning Bulgaria. The conclusions show the political stream of each of the three states as for Bulgaria was stipulated by the place it took in foreign policy on the eve of the war, current and perspective aims of the war conducting, view of the region’s and world’s organization in general; as a matter of fact – by the necessity of paying attention to the allying interests.
