Rzhevs'ka M. Music of Naddnipryans'ka Ukraine of the first third of the 20th century within the interaction and transformation of sociocultural discourses

The thesis is devoted to consideration of reproduction of peculiarities, deep structure and dynamics of the basic art ideas of the examined period in the music of Naddnipryans'ka Ukraine of the first third of the 20th century. The existence specifity of music within the polyethnic environment is considered. The main sociocultural discourses of the epoch in their perspective onto the musical art are characterized. The character and direction of changes of the cultural codes in the semiosphere over the whole period are deduced. The search of ways of realization of the national idea in the musical art is investigated, the formation processes of the three national com-posers' school generations are reviewed. Preconditions and ways of adaptation of modernism on the Ukrainian cultural ground, also crystallization of national modus of modernism in Ukrainian music are characterized. The dynamics of genre and style transformations in musical culture texts in their mutual stipulation with the sociocultural context of the epoch is featured. Inner oppo-sitions of musical art are featured in the context of changes on the ideological, institu-tional and intellectual-organizational levels that took place in the society. The conclu-sion on absorption or transformation performed by the discourse of "music of mass" over the other leading discourses of the period is substantiated.
