Stepan I. Historiography of national – cultural and spiritual life of Ukrainian Peasantry 20-th – 30-th of XX Century

The methodology, historiography and sources of research are considered. The historiographyc sources on the problem of 1920–2005 years are revealed, systematized and analysed, their classification is made. The main tendencies of the progress of knowledge of the history of national, cultural and spiritual life of Ukrainian peasantry are studied, determined peculiarities and characteristic features of historiographyc process, its dependence from the political regime. It is elucidated the structure and fullness of knowledge about spiritual and cultural processes in Ukrainian village in conditions of bilshovyks‘ social and political experiments and repressoins. The historiography of the problem is considered from the point of interaction of two components of cultural process: official, state culture and everyday cultural and spiritual life of peasantry. By the way of antropological method in social and historical literature is determined the presence of a peasant as an exponent of certain thoughts, moods,social and national ideas. On the basis of historiographyc experience it is proposed the scheme of deepened and complex investigation of national and cultural life of Ukrainian peasantry.
