Essay

The author suggested and analyzed new method for intensification of mass transfer in gas-liquid countercurrent apparatuses with regular packings through perforation of packing sheets by toothed holes. New types of packings with toothed holes, due to which film flow of liquid was changed for organized drop-film flow, were developed on the basis of plane-parallel packing. New packings are characterized by increased intensity of mass transfer and insignificant increase of hydraulic resistance. The author found that mass transfer in gas-liquid apparatuses can be intensified with the help of continuous and dynamic waves, retard shock leaps of compaction and targeted influence on surface phenomena. The author also proved capillary correlations for calculation of sizes of constructive elements of contact devices. Key words: gas-liquid system, hydrodynamic, dynamic waves, oscilation-wave phenomena, drop-film flow, mass transfer, continuous waves, surface phenomena, regular packing with toothed holes.
