Essay

Subject of inquiry-technological processes of application of solid mineral fertilizers and chemical ameliorants. Objective-upgrading application of mineral fertilizers and chemical ameliorants as well as increase in machine productivity. Methods-theoretical and experimental. Novelty-lies in increase of the effectiveness of processes of application of mineral fertilizers and chemical ameliorants on the basis of development of new approaches to their simulation. For the first time by the way of development and investigation of three-dimensional mathematical models, obtained are equations that describe the behaviour of the flow of processes, which are effected by working heads of machines relative to the whole cycle of fertilizers movement from a technological tank to the field surface, with respect to general and particular forms of design of mentioned working heads and conditions of work of machines. Substantiated are a physical model of application of mineral fertilizers on working widths of machines and determination of nonuniformity of their application. It is ascertained that in case of providing the feed of various kinds of fertilizers onto a common distributing device in the form of a layered mixture their application is possible by differentiated rates without preliminary mixing in one pass of the unit.Results of investigations-are used by plants of agricultural machinery industry, in agricultural production, research work, and training.Branch-mechanization of agricultural production.
