Essay

The positive acute phase proteins (APP) concentration C-reactive protein, б1-inhibitor proteinases, б1-acid glycoprotein, ceruloplasmin as well as cortisol concentration were determined by immunological methods during some acute infectious diseases (acute intestinal infections, angina, diphtheria, acute virus hepatitis A and B). It was first shown that the changes of absolute value rates and indexes between them are correlated with level of cellular degenerative processes evaluated by oxidative modification of proteins (OMP), content malonic dialdehyde (MDA) and leucocyte's DNA degradation. Statistic analysis of APP responses revealed their pathogenetic and prognostic roles at the acute infectious. The obtained data suggest that serum blood OMP values can de used for estimation of metabolic intoxication extent, clinical course and prognosis. The correlative interrelations between levels of OMP and MDA, OMP and APP, MDA and APP, cortisol and APP are revealed. There is a metabolic intoxication index (ratio OMP/MDA) is proposed as a new criterion to serve for estimation of endogen metabolic intoxication extend. It was first shown the clinical efficiency of application bemithyli - at treatment of the patients by salmonellosis, stimuli and inosine pranobexi - at treatment of the patients by acute virus hepatitis B. Presented data complement conception on general mechanisms of endogenesis and pathogenesis of intoxication syndrome.
