Yegorov I. The State and Perspectives of the Ukrainian Scientific Potential Development in the Context of the Technology Dynamics Theory

Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical aspects of the scientific potential transformation and the impact of S&T factors on the social and economic development in the context of the technology dynamics theory. Author generalizes theoretical approaches to the studies of the S&T and innovation potentials: special attention is paid to the analysis of the long-term processes in the economy and social systems. Dissertation contains specific recommendations, aimed at improvements of statisitical base of the innovation and scientific activities in Ukraine, including measures on gaining data compatibility between Ukraine and the other countries of the world. Author proposes methodological principles, methods and simulation models for analysis of the current state of the scientific potential. He also made a review of the dynamics of the components of this potential, including corresponding calculations of the cadres poetntial. On the base of modern forecasting methodology key problems and and instruments for their solving were identified.
