Essay

Object of research: terrigenous and carbonate reservoir rocks of oil and gas fields in the Precarpathian, Near Black Sea-Crimean, Indol-Kuban oil and gas bearing, Dnipro-Donets gas and oil bearing and Baltic oil-bearing regions; the subject of research: petrophysical properties and fluid saturation of reservoirs rocks with low filtration-capacity properties and factors that influence them; the aim of research: to study experimentally molecular-surface processes in the porous medium, to work out theoretical and methodical principles of reservoir rocks fluid saturation structure determination, to investigate the peculiarities of physical-chemical microprocesses in reservoir rocks and evaluate their influence on completeness of oil recovery; methods of investigations: complex petrophysical examinations and physical modeling of oil recovery process on core samples; practical value: theoretical and methodical developments are directed on reservoir rocks petrophysical examinations trustworthiness and informativity increase, evaluation of total and recoverable hydrocarbons reserves, their classification by the degree of recovery; scientific novelty: for the first time in fundamental aspect are created theoretical and methodical principles of reservoir rocks fluid saturation substantiation, differentiation of oil in the porous medium by the degree of mobility; spheres of use: oil-field geology, hydrocarbon pools development.
