Noreiko S. Bronchoobstructive syndrome in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (diagnosis and treatment)

Object of research - pulmonary tuberculosis with bronchoobstructive syndrome. The purpose - to improve the diagnostics and to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods of research - clinical, rontgenological, functional, morphological, laboratorial, bacteriological and mathematical. Results - bronchologic, roentgenic, morphologic and functional signs of bronchoobstructive syndrome were studied in the clinical material, a method of complex diagnosis of bronchoobstructive syndrome was developed. It includes the author's approach to determining the mucociliary transport of the lungs. The author's method of tuberculosis pathogenic therapy complicated by bronchoobstructive syndrome has been successfully put in practice. It has been proved that addition of pathogenic treatment of tuberculosis to antimycobacterial therapy utilizing bronchodilators, corticosteroids and mucolitics contributes to normalization of the functional condition of the lungs, shortening ofterms of cavern healing, foci of the dissemination and ceasing of intoxication 1-3 months earlier than in the patients of the comparison group.
