Putiyenko O. Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment non complicated and complicated by severe stages of proliferative vitreoretinopathy (pathogenesis, diagnostic, clinic, surgical treatment).

Object: rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). Purpose: the rising efficacy of treatment RDD. Methods: general clinical examination, standart ophthalmological, ultrasound, morphological, imunological, statistical. SL, indirect ophthalmoscope, ultrascan imaging system, centrifug, termostate, light microscope. Firstly it was elaborated a new model of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, complicated by proliferative vitreoretinopathy.It was shown, that patients with RRD has in 2,3 decreased level of phagocyte activity of monocytes/macrophages and established, that morphological structure of epiretinal membranes completely showed the character and severety of proliferative process.It was proposed a new approaches: intraoperative viewing method in aphakic patients, diagnostic of retinal tears, treatment the patients with RRD, complicated by uveal syndrome, new approach to buckling procedure, it was modyfied the method of internal tamponade of retinal tears. The main results of the work are adopted in Filatov institute, Lugansk,Kiev and Donetsk centers of eye diseases. The sphere of use: medicine, ophthalmology.
