Bogachevska I. Christian Narrative Tradition: The Philosophical-Religious Analysis.

The thesis is devoted to the analyses of the Christian narrative tradition. It is the integrative investigation in religious studies of nature and functions of Christian narrative tradition as the phenomenon of the Christian culture’s universum. The linguistic of religion as a new sphere of Religion Studies knowledge is constituted. Categories of the philosophical-religious analysis of the confessional narrative systems differences were carried out. Christian narrative tradition was investigated as a manifestation of religion discourse in the semiosphere of Christianity. The role of the Christian narrative system in the processes of religion communication is shown. Modernization of the Christian narrative tradition is shown as a process of its permanent adaptation to the “challenge of a time” as well as to the ethno-confessional conditions. Transition from marginal structures of the narrative system to its nuclear structures determinates the transformation of the Christian narrative tradition.
