The dissertation research deals with a theoretical substantiation and a new solution of the topical problem of neonatology – the creation of a modern concept of diagnostics and treatment of the syndrome of acute lung injury in newborns in different critical conditions.The author has defined biochemical and immunologic markers of the initial stages of acute respiratory distress-syndrome, their diagnostic value in diagnosing acute lung injury and the directions of the medicamental influence on the basic components of the pathogenesis of the development of a nonspecific lung injury in neonates against a background of diverse pathology.
