The thesis is devoted to the problem of establishment and prognoses of the acute pneumonia, of treatment in infants on the base of studying of morphofunctional status of thymus and hypophisis-thyroid system. The diagnostic and prognostic value of the changes of thymus in infants with acute pneumonia is studied. In the process was created mathematic model of the dependence of the level of hormone thymulin and function of thyroid gland. Also was found the influence of the morphfunctional changes of thymus and hypophisis-thyroid system in the case of acute pneumonia in infants with hypotrophia, prematured children with features of the decreasing of prenatal development and with very small weight of the body in birth.Patomorphological peculiarities of children's thymus, dead after acute pneumonia. Input to the complex treatment of infants with acute pneumonia of the hormone L-thyroxin.
