Essay

The purpose of thesis is determination of the general regularities of formations within polyurethane-containing IPNs the phase structures of different types under the influence of such factors as component ratio, sample thickness, introduction of fillers, formation conditions. Using the results of DMTA, X-ray scattering, IR-spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and other methods it was proved that phase inversion within IPNs may be considered as a percolation process; imitation model was suggested allowing one to predict the geometry of concentration profile within gradient IPNs; the effectiveness of influence of filler on the phase morphology of IPNs was shown and the reason of the synergism of adhesion properties for based semi-IPN coating was found.
