Peculiarities of the transition to a semi-insulating state in cadmium telluride and solid solutions on its base by means of using donor impurities as well as the course of non-equilibrium processes in such the materials are investigated in dependence on technological factors. Practical advices on obtaining semi-insulating crystals of these materials of high photosensitivity and thermal stability are established.
