Essay

Dissertation is a complex historical research on the formation and evolution of the peronist regime in Argentina in 1946 – 1989. Political-historical and historical-economical roots, as well as peculiarities of peronism are analyzed. Additionally, the historical-political analysis of populism was produced. The circumstances of Juan Peron's victory at the presidential elections, as well as evolution of home policy, peculiarities of the foreign policy, taking into account the North-American factor, are characterized. The historical context of politicization of the military forces is considered, special attention is given to the tradition of caudilism. While characterizing neoperonism, special emphasis was given not only to its essence, but also to the ability of Justicialist (Peronist) party to adapt to the new circumstances.
