Elaboration of the linear and nonlinear electrodynam-ics of the structures, allowing generating high powers and exciting ultrahigh accelerating gradients of a field in accelerators is carried out. It is shown what it is pos-sible to obtain high powers with using of hybrid plasma slow down structures, and also by means of wake field excitation by intensive bunches of charged particles in plasma, in hybrid plasma-dielectric and in dielectric slow down structures. The practical ways of implementation of advantages of hybrid slowing down structures are given. Calculations are carried out and recommendations on proof-on-principles of high gradient particle ac-celeration with using of wake fields are given. The concept of the wake field accelerator with use of the dielectric resonator is developed.
