Essay

Object of research: evolution of the stellar systems. The dissertation is dedicated to solving the problem of searching statistical regularities in isolated stellar systems, including the neighborhood of the solar system. The arrays of physical and kinematical data were investigated, as well as various characteristics of stellar systems and their components which are at the key phases of evolution. Relationships between the astrophysical parameters of stars and substars and their distribution functions were studied, as well as relationships between distribution functions of various characteristics of space bodies. It was shown that the fragmentation process can be described statistically. General expression for the stellar-substellar mass spectrum is obtained, that is a function of the age of the stellar system. The obtained relationships between the masses of basic space bodies make possible to trace changing of any stellar masses during their evolution. Spatial distribution of the nearest stellar systems is investigated, and stellar clusters is separated.
