Essay

The basic principles of megachilid-bees nest construction and composition were defined and quantitatively characterized on the base of multi-year investigations of nest biology. The mechanisms of the unhindered outlet of bees' descendants from the linear nests, the mechanisms of bees' weight regulation, regulation of cells' number in the nests, regulation of and influence of females' weight to their nest activity and sex ratio in their posterity were describe. The mechanisms of different factors' influence to megachilid-bees dairy activity were discovered. It was permitted to create a scheme of phylogenetic relations of megachilid-bees. Character of phylogenetic relations of distinct taxa in Anthidiini, Megachilini and Osmiini tribes were shown first time. Natural classification of megachilid-bees' nests was created. 15 new technological methods of megachilid-bees' breeding and a substantially new conceptual scheme of pollination process optimization with use of megachilid-bees were elaborated. The peculiarities of megachilid-bees' biodiversity structure were revealed. Methods of bees' populations' support in primary and secondary landscapes were elaborated.
