Essay

The object of research: organizational and industrial activity of the Ukrainian railway transport. The target of the research: elaboration of the theoretical and methodological approaches, the conceptional basis for the increase of the competitive capabilities of the Ukrainian railway transport under the market conditions due to the corporative restructuring and anti-crisis measures. The methods of the research: mathematical statistics, mathematical analysis, strategic planning, systemic approaches, mathematical programming, imitation modelling. The practical value of the results: the creation of the methods for the increase of the competitive capabilities of the railway transport under the market conditions due to the anti-crisis measures and corporative restructuring; the elaboration of the promising model of the railway transport reforming. The degree of introduction: the research results have been introduced by Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport in the 9 scientific projects which were implemented due to "Ukrsaliznutsya" order. The scientific novelty of the obtained results: the methodology of the effective functioning of the railway transport has been elaborated due to the corporative restructuring of the anti-crisis measures; the optimal parameters of the reforming model have been theoretically proved; the conceptual model of classification has been improved concerning European railway transport thanks to the introduction of the two new models ;the method of the organization structuring of the railway department has been improved; the theoretical and methodological basis for the decrease of the transformation losses has been proposed; the criteria for the comparison of the different reformation models have been advanced thanks to the additional use of the estimation method at the first stage concerning the investment project of the discounted profit; the conceptual approaches to the renovation of the carriages have been improved.
