In order to take into consideration the risk factor in the prevention of industrial injuries the methodology to analyze causes and factors creating risk of occupational injuries has been developed. This methodology ensures a comprehensive record and quantitative assessment of the impact of such criteria as specification of production,social factors, status of resourceallocation to meet the needs of labour protection, as well as specific technical and organizationfl causes of occupational injurieson the rate of occupational injuries. The methods have been developed to justifj decisions related to prevention of occupational injuries based on using risk indicators obtained in this work (external factors), risk matrices (direct causes) as well as mtfns of transforming this information into prevention activities
