The thesis represents an experimental research, which includes the epidemiological analysis of methicillin-resistant staphylococci distribution in Ivano-Frankіvsk region in 1990-2006 (in medical establishments and among out-patients), detailed microbiological characteristics of isolated strains with antibiotic resistance profiles and determinant estimation. It is devoted to the search of new effective drugs against current multidrug resistant staphylococci among synthetic heterocyclic compounds - thiazolidine, thiazole, furane, quinoline, acridine derivatives and biologically active substances of a natural origin as well.
