Thesis is devoted to theoretical generality and new scientifical-practical decision of the actual problem - to protection, preservation and restitution the mental health of the population has suffered at extreme situations (ES). The all-round multifactorial analysis the results of research were conducted. This analysis were accord to mark out the: clinical-epidemiological parameters, risk and anti risk factors, markers of a susceptibility-resistance which are accompanying or assist the forming of the mental and behavioural disorders (MBD) at victims of ES, features of their personal reaction, personality changes during ES, and also the reasons for forma-tion, structure, dynamics, under- and clinical presentations MBD, - and has allowed to develop the pathogenetic measures of psychotherapy, psychoprophylactic and correction MBD owing to ES. The results of the lead researches have confirmed the presence of the general and specific action the various factors ES on victims, have allowed to allocate groupsof risk to formation MBD and their negative dynamics, and also have caused the orientation of the psychotherapeutic, psychoprophylactic and correction measures by different stages of rendering the medical aid to victims at ES. On this basis the system of psychotherapy, psychoprophylactic and correction the mental disorders for victims of extreme situations were developed, introduced and its ef-fectiveness were estimated.
