Aristova A. Religious Conflicts in Transitional European Societies: Nature, Dynamics, Influence on the Religion and Social Processes.

Thesis is a complete religious studies’ research of the phenomenon of religious conflicts in European transitional societies. For the first time in Ukrainian Religious Studies there is complex interdisciplinary analysis of religious conflicts as a natural component of social transformation. Also the specific features of such conflicts and sum of their concrete-historical, political, ethnic and national, spirit and cultural reasons have been revealed. The author shows kind of the links between genesis as well as dynamics of religious conflicts and the phases of post communist transformations. The object, subject, basic concepts of Conflictology of Religion as a new sphere of the Religious Studies research have been defined.
