Essay

This work is devoted to the investigation of interaction regularities of intermetallics and alloys of hydride forming metals with the hydrogen during mechano-chemical and thermal treatment with the aim of development of hydrogen technology of milling and structure modification for the improvement properties of the materials. The REM2Fe14B-, were REM is a mixture of rare earth metals, SmCo5- and Sm2(Co,Fe,Zr,Cu)17-based ferromagnetic materials and LaNi5- and ZrCr2-based electrode materials were investigated. The influence of Al, Co, Nd, Ti and Ni doping on the interaction regularities of the alloys with hydrogen was studied. The hydrogen treatment technologies for ferromagnetic and electrode materials have been developed. Methods of: modification of multiphase materials morphology by phase transformation in one of the phase; forming of the texture; homogenization; quick milling; forming of the nanostructure; carrying out of polymorphic transformation have been developed based on the received results.
