Essay

The dissertation first investigates Russian postmodern prose in broad comparative context, namely, in comparison with prose of Ukrainian, Belorussian, Czech, Slovakian and Polish postmodernism. The research included polysemy of the rotion as well as its ethnocultural and sociocultural manifestations. Existence of genetic and tipological similarities among Slavic postmodern paradigms has been proved as well as identification of a number of differences determined by national and sociocultural components. Comparison has been carried out according to such parameters as prepostmodern complex, national culturological tradition of transitivity, chronology and reasons of emergence of first postmodern works, connection of latest paradigm with leading lines of national literature - modernism, realism, baroque and Gothic. Movements of postmodernism in each literature (conceptualism, social art, Rus-art), genres changes, models of heroes, prominent postmodern art strategies were being compared in synchronic aspect.
