Hulchiy M. Thyroid cancer in combination with other thyroid diseases clinical, diagnostic's and treatment's peculiarities

Object: Thyriod tumour in ukrainian population. Aim: Scientific background of conceptual algorithm for use of technologies of increasing of efficasy of medical maintenence for patients with thyroid cancer (TC) in connection with another thyroid pathology on the basis of stated peculiarities of clinic, diagnostics and treatment of this category of thyroid deseases. Metods and equipment: epidemiological, clinical, ultrasound, hormonal, pathohystological, laboratory, instrumental, statistical; sonograph "Sonoline-Sienna", microprocessor analyser "Digiscan", microscope "Leica". Theoretical and practical results: The results of 10-years observation allowed to state an influence of such factors as aging of population, iodine deficiency, radiation influence, on annual increase of TC prevalence. It was proved that Chornobyl derived radiation factor is the main component of the process. Recomendation concerning improvement of surgery treatment of patients with TC, including patients with thyriod pathology, were substantiated, that permit to improve life quality and increase efficacy of medical treatment and reabilitation of such patients. Novelty: In the first time in Ukraine the complex investigation of patients with TC in connection with another thyroid pathology was realized. Peculiarities of clinic of TC in patients with and without accompanning thyroid pathology were established: in patients with TC without thyroid pathology it was more agressive current of oncology process. It was proved that methastases in late post-operation period were registrated in patients with TC without accompanning thyroid pathology. Methods of increase of efficacy of surgery treatment of patients with TC with and without accompanning thyroid pathology were developed. Introduction: The results allowed to develop and introduce to medical practice the technologies of pre-operating diagnostics of TC development in organism which may be used in clinical practice for diagnostics and treatment of patients with TC.
