Essay

This thesis is devoted to determination of role and place of SPECT in diagnostics of brain tumors, dynamic supervision of the results of neurooncological patients treatment, to diagnose of the tumors prolongation and the process of malignancy increase. Brain SPECT and whole body scintigraphy are able to specify the character of brain focus and to find out the pathological focuses of noncerebral localization. Multimodal images (SPECT + MRI) allow to discover and carry out anatomic attachment of areas of high cell proliferative activity of tumor before stereotactic biopsy.
