1.The technique of ultrafine powders and materials based on MgO-A2O3-SiO2-ZrO2 system.2.The elaboration of theoretical conception of synthesis the polyfunctional ultrafine powders by given phase composition and dispersity in MgO-A2O3-SiO2-ZrO2 system by sol-gel method. 3.Gel stucturization, phase composition and powder structure have been studied using the IR-spectroscopy, differential-thermal analyses, petrography and X-ray.The properties have been determined according to Standards.4.The scientific basis and technique of ultrafine powders by given phase composition from heterogeneous gels have been designed.The powders designed have been used as ceramic precursors, fillers for stomatological composites, and modifying additions for corundum-mullite refractory concretes used for steel-pouring ladle of converter manufacture.5.The phase formation processes at thermal treatment of heterogeneous gel precursors by mullite, mullite-zirconia, forsterite, cordierite, and silica composition have been formulated.The one of main factors of homogeneous gel obtaining is the amount of condensed part of ethyl silicate. Its presence is the reason of water clatrates forming during the gel ageing and opal-like glass phase synthesizing during the thermal treatment. 6.The results of work have been implemented on "Kondratjevka refractory plant"(Druzhkovka).7.Metallurgy.
