Essay

The thesis is devoted to development and investigation of high voltage glow discharge electron sources and its application for realizing of different technological operations, including welding, coatings deposition, and electron beam refusing of refractory metals. The review of modern electron beam technologies has been provided in the thesis. Methodic of calculation of HVGDES electron optic properties, based on current-tube method, is proposed.
