Essay

This dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the main stages of study of the social and political processes in Ukrainian historiography in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in the second half of 1940 - the first half of 1960. Great attention is paid to the analysis of the scientific research, devoted to the elucidation of different aspects of ideology of cultural life, participation of different social layers in social and political processes in republic. The influence of the reigning political regime, its trend and characteristic of scientific published works writing were herein defined. A number of discussional points and historiographical problems were enlightened.
