The thesis presents, for the first time in our country's historiography, the complex researches of the Socio-religious aspects of everyday life of orthodox population of northern part of the Moldavian province and Austrian Bukovyna on the basis of the published sources, archived documents and works of our country's and foreign historians, through the vision of its perception of the then society. Of considerable attention is the research of Bukovyna peasants' pastimes, their going to churches on festive days.
