Essay

The thesis deals with the research on spread and peculiarities of clinical manifestation of gastroesophagelic reflux disease (GERD) and Barrett's esophagus and the investigation of various modern methods of their diagnosis and treatment. It shows that 48 hour inner esophagus pH monitoring without probe with the help of "Bravo" capsule is the most informative GERD diagnostic method advisably used in refractory cases before GERD treatment. It is researched that effective method of early diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus is chromatic endoscopy with biopsy and early revealing metaplastic and displastic changes of esophagus mucous membrane is endoscope photodynamic diagnosis.
