Essay

The object of research is modular turbocompressor units (TCU). The purpose of research is creation of scientific and methodical bases for TCU updating. Methods of research are methods of mathematical and physical modeling of elements of TCU technological diagrams, thermodynamic analysis of efficiency of TCU diagrams with application of exergetique method. Theoretical and practical results are: main directions for development of modular compressor equipment and ways of updating centrifugal compressors and gas turbine drives have been formed. The novelty is: scientific bases for creation and updating of TCU with application of exergetique methods of analysis of power efficiency of assemblies and the whole technological diagram have been developed, that permits optimization of system both by selection of equipment operation conditions during operation and at designing. Degree of adoption: the results are used while designing, manufacturing, updating and operation of modular TCU. Field of application is machine building.
