Essay

The dissertation presents the analysis and generalization of economic and ecological problems associated with the development of the food complex. For the first time the essence and substance of the terminological concept "food effectiveness of reproduction of agricultural natural resource potential" is disclosed, it being viewed as a component of economic efficiency of using and reproducing the natural resource potential; in addition, the methodological principles and the corresponding technique of the concept definition are suggested. The process of reproduction in the food complex is shown in combination with the rational exploitation and intensive preservation of agricultural resources of the environment. For the first time some theoretical and methodological principles of determining the coefficient of integrated ecological state of the territory have been developed. The analysis of the current economic state of the food complex made it possible to reveal some regularities and trends in the increase of competitiveness of domestically produced foodstuffs. The investment and innovation attractiveness of food enterprises viewed as subjects of ecological entrepreneurship has been substantiated. The author's version of organizational and economic mechanism served as a basis for elaborating the conception of well-balanced development of the food agricultural natural resource potential. An approach to economic stimulation of expanded reproduction of the agricultural natural resource potential of the food complex has been worked out.
